Redefining Seating Comfort
In a collaborative development HOERBIGER and DaimlerChrysler have redefined seat comfort. Ideal adaptation of the seat to the occupant is achieved by means of up to 10air pillows and their control valves.
The backrest side bolsters automatically adapt themselves to the occupant, dependant upon driving conditions, should steep cornering conditions prevail, the pillows are filled, thus holding the occupant in position.
The massage function enables occupants to remain fresh during long periods of travel. Seven masage pillows, controllable via four programms, ensure that the back muscles are stimulated in a wave like manner. The adjustment of the lumbar support can be customized using the individually adjustable air chambers. This function is also availible for the rear seat occupants.
