HOERBIGER ::

HOERBIGER is present in Italia since 1955, when ACEMA S.p.A. (Accessori e Macchine S.p.A.) had been founded. ACEMA S.p.A. had his headquarters in Milan and produced and sold HOERBIGER products on the Italian Market.

Over the years, ACEMA S.p.A. increased continuously his share capital and moved different times, before arriving in Verona in 1989 where, in 1990 it takes over the business share of HOERBIGER SERVICE ITALIA S.r.l. In 1994 ACEMA S.p.A., Milan and HOERBIGER Fluidtechnik Italiana Srl merged into HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A. with headquarters in Verona. Since 1996, HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A. concentrates on all activities concerning the division "Compression Technology".

In 1996, HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A., in order to be closer to the customer and to the market opened a service branch in Augusta (Sicily).

In 2005 the Sicilian service branch moved from Augusta to Priolo Gargallo and on 14th October 2005, HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A. ufficially inaugurated his new Service branch "Service Center Sud" in Sicily, in Priolo Gargallo, situated in a strategic position not far away from the important petrochemical industrial poles of Priolo Gargallo, Augusta, Gela and Milazzo.

In August 2006, in order to deepen knowledge in the maintenance field, HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A. acquired Unimec S.r.l., with headquarters in Melilli (Siracuse), a company founded in 1976 which for more than thirty years has operated in all refining and petrochemical establishments in Sicily and which has a high experience in producing and reconditioning spare parts for all kind of machines, like reciprocating compressors, rotating compressors, turbines, pumps etc.

On 1st January 2008, Unimec has been incorporated in HOERBIGER Italiana S.p.A.
